On the age of 30, John Nash, a stunningly original and famously eccentric MIT mathematician, abruptly initiated claiming that aliens have been communicating with him understanding that he was a special messenger.
Identified with paranoid schizophrenia, Nash spent the next three decades in and out of psychological hospitals, all but forgotten. In the course of that time, a evidence he experienced prepared at the age of 20 became a foundation of contemporary economic theory. In 1994, as Nash started out to show indicators of emerging from his delusions, he was awarded a Nobel Prize in Economics. The plan features interviews with John Nash, his wife Alicia, his friends and colleagues, and experts in game concept and mental sickness.

A Great Madness chronicles the living of mathematician and Nobel Prize winner John Nash. Born in Bluefield, WV, the eccentric Nash joined the prestigious math department at Princeton inside the late '40s.
In 1950, on the age of 21, he designed the Nash Equilibrium, a challenge to conventional online game principle that would prove groundbreaking to economics. No one, even so, acknowledged its significance on the time. After receiving his doctorate, Nash started teaching at M.I.T. wherever he met and married Alicia Larde.
He was frustrated, though, by the sluggish improvement of his career and began to exhibit indications of psychological imbalance. He claimed that aliens were sending him coded messages understanding that his image was around the cover of Existence disguised because the Pope. Nash was committed for any small time to McLean Hospital where he was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia.
