The 2010 American Earthquakes
I can predict with one hundred percent certainty that there will be a massive earthquake in California. I just don't know if it will be this year, 2010, or 2020, 2030, etc. But, what we do know is that the web bot linguistics predicted SIX major earthquakes (7.0 or higher) or 2010 with TWO being in America. So, I guess California would be as good of a guess as any place, don'tcha think?
So, six major earthquakes and we've been through only two months and we've had TWO MAJOR EARTHQUAKES.
The Haiti earthquake (7.0) caused somewhere close to 200,000 deaths mainly due to poor construction, poverty, location of the earthquake epicenter, and depth. The Chile earthquake (8.8) is one of the largest ever on record and thankfully, Chile is used to such events so their engineering and construction methods prevented tens of thousands of deaths. It looks like the final death toll will be around 1,000 or so.
In the midst of the Chile 8.8 earthquake, the 7.0 Japanese earthquake off the RYUKYU ISLANDS got mainly over looked!
Also not being mentioned is the increased earthquake activity in central California where more than a half dozen 2.5 and better are popping up daily. Can you imagine the cost and economic drain on California, which is more than $20 BILLION upside down currently, if they were faced with the costs of a major earthquake? In fact six major quakes might totally push the planet into a depression. Have you seen the price of copper recently? Chile supplies 40% of the worlds copper production.

Scientists predict that a strong and deadly earthquake will hit California within 30 years. By the way, 2010 is within that 30 years time frame. The probability that the "big one" will be at least a 6.7 magnitude is now over 99 percent. An even more dangerous 7.5 magnitude is 46 percent likely, and more prone to Southern California. I would say the 99% probability is pretty strong. 
The San Andreas Fault marks the boundary between the North American and Pacific tectonic plates. Tectonic plates are pieces of the Earth's outer crust that jostle about like constantly moving pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. The fault is notorious for major earthquakes, including the 1906 earthquake that reduced the San Francisco Bay Area to piles of smoldering rubble. But the 100-mile southern section of the fault, which runs south from San Bernardino to the east of Los Angeles and San Diego, has remained eerily quiet for nearly three centuries.
Suffice it to say that we have daunting possibilities ahead of December 21, 2012 so maybe we should be more focused on 2010!
